Our mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators by making STEM education accessible, engaging, and impactful for our community. Through competitive robotics, hands-on learning, mentorship, and outreach, we empower students of all backgrounds to develop technical skills, confidence, creativity, and leadership. We strive to build a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning while using engineering and innovation to make a positive difference both on and off the competition field.Â
As a new team in the FIRST robotics competition, we are still working on establishing ourselves within our community, to create something not only competitive but that will be active for our community for years to come. Our goals for this coming 2026-2027 season are based around the following:
Improve outreach as a section of our team:
Mentor an FTC/FLC team at the middle school in our community, Walnut Creek Intermediate - Help organize fundraising, send over seasoned members of team 11243 to mentor younger students, sponsor the team if they need it
Set up robotics workshops and recruitment events to get anyone interested in STEM involved with FRC
Have demonstrations with our robot at local community centers such as the Walnut Creek Library
Hit our fundraising goal of 25,000 USD in order to pay for registration, components for our robots, and travel fees for those who need it in our team
